We are now accepting Vendor Applications and Advertisement Submissions for the Gilded Raqs Belly Dance Festival on April 6, 2024.  

The Belly Dance Guild, founded last year to support all facets of the Belly Dance Community as a strong united whole, to the benefit of all, is having our inaugural festival event, Gilded Raqs, on April 6, 2024 at the beautiful Historic Hoover Theatre in San Jose, CA, and we are excited to be bringing a wide variety of vendors for our festival attendees to shop with!

On-site Vendors

  • Attendance is expected to be about 150 people

  • Vendors will be situated in the theatre lobby and protected courtyard.  See the vendor manager upon arrival to get your assigned location

  • We will provide one 8' table and 2 chairs per vendor space

  • Inside vendor spaces are 10'x4' - SOLD OUT

  • Outside vendor spaces are 10'x10', and vendors may provide their own canopy

  • All vendor prices include two free admissions and a listing in the Festival Program, as well as promotion via social media beginning as soon as your completed application is received!

  • Set-up is at 9:30am, tear down is at 7:30pm. Out of respect to participants and performers, please do not begin tear-down any earlier. See the vendor manager for check out. Vendors must be out of the building by 9:00pm.

  • Electricity is available! Please bring a 40 ft extension cord and gaffer tape

  • Internet access is available for easy sales via credit card, Paypal etc.

  • You may provide your own tablecloths, mirrors and racks (racks are $35 each)

  • Please do not staple, nail, glue or pin items to the walls of the beautiful historic theater!

  • Please leave your space as you found it. Trash receptacles will be provided!

  • The Belly Dance Guild is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise.

Vendor Space and Advertising Fees: 

  • $48 Inside 10'x4' space for Guild Members - SOLD OUT
  • $80 Inside 10'x4' space for Non-Guild Member - SOLD OUT
  • $90 Courtyard 10'x10' space for Guild Members
  • $150 Courtyard 10'x10' spaces for non-Guild Members
  • $25 Business card-sized ad in the Festival Program - online (for one month following event) and on printed posters at venue
  • $40 Ad on The Belly Dance Guild website for one year
  • $35 for a clothing rack
