Julie 

Originally from Berkeley, CA, Julie, began studying started bellydancing in the San Francisco Bay Area, drawing from many different teachers and dancing styles.  Now living in the far north of California, she continues to study dance in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, with a focus on Egyptian dance, music, and culture.

Hassan Yousef Deeb

Joey is an award-winning soloist with a long history of dancing, all over the globe.  He’s quite talented with many props…and today, you’ll see him masterfully handling the challenge of a double veil.

Lucina Talya

Lucina Talya has been a belly dancer for many years. Today she is bringing some Christmas favorites to the stage. She wants to spread the joy of her dance with this wonderful audience here, and hopes to attract more participants to this beautiful artistry. Please enjoy! 

House of Inanna

House of Inanna is excited to be at Christmas in the Park again!  All over NorCal, this troupe is known for their bespoke performances, making holidays, events and celebrations extra special.  Today the troupe has a special, holiday prop, and is joined by friends and students.  If you like what you see, classes are taught just off The Alameda - join us!

Ghanima Gaditana has been teaching and performing for many years in the South Bay. She was a member of the original Bal-Anat, and studied with Jamila Salimpour, Aida Al-Adawi, and Dahlena.

Sidahlia is a theatrical belly dancer and a founding member of The Belly Dance Guild.

Rawiyah

Rawiyah is a classic cabaret style dancer from Los Altos who loves to engage with her audience. She wishes everyone happy holidays and hopes yours are filled with love, music and dance.

Santina

Santina started her belly dance journey in Mississippi and New Orleans, where she taught and performed throughout the Gulf Coast. She now resides in the Bay Area and is honored to be gracing the same stage with so many talented performers tonight.

Petra

Petra loves to dance.  You saw her earlier this evening with her troupe, House of Inanna.  But sometimes…she goes into “solo mode” and needs to shimmy it out of her system!  She’s also a founding member of The Belly Dance Guild. Today, you’ll see her handling swords, then doing a traditional drum solo.  House of Inanna is based in San Jose, and invites you to come to their classes nearby, just off The Alameda and through Los Gatos Recreation beginning in January!
