Are you ready to take the stage at Gilded Raqs? Whether you're a soloist, part of a troupe, or an emerging artist, this is your chance to shine at one of the Bay Area’s most exciting belly dance festivals!

Performance Opportunities

✨ Badia Auditorium Stage (NO SPACES LEFT EXCEPT FOR LIVE MUSIC WITH THE FLAIRS) – Our grand performance space, perfect for showcasing polished choreographies and breathtaking artistry.
✨ Samia Stage – A more intimate setting for experimental pieces, improvisation, and unique styles.

We welcome all dancers and troupes to apply! Spaces are limited, and Guild members receive priority placement, so be sure to submit your application early—and consider joining The Guild to secure your spot!

Performance Schedule

Saturday, September 6 – 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Sunday, September 7 – 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Performance Time Limits

⏳ Solo Performances – 6 minutes
⏳ Duets & Trios – 8 minutes
⏳ Troupes (4+ dancers) – 12 minutes
⏳ Live Band Performances – 7-12 minutes

How to Register

To be considered for a performance slot, please submit the following:
✅ Dancer/Troupe Name
✅ Performance Style 
✅ Bio & Photo (for promotions)
✅ Preferred stage (Badia or Samia), date (Saturday or Sunday), and which workshop(s) you will be taking 

Performance Guidelines

Festival Admission Required – All performers must purchase a discounted admission pass for the day of your performance. An email will be sent to you with more information when you register.

Music Submission – Music must be family-friendly and submitted in advance.

Costume Standards – Attire should be performance-ready and suitable for a festival setting.

All Belly Dance Styles Welcome! – From traditional to fusion, we celebrate all forms of belly dance.

We are running an event which is expensive, and as a non-profit, we need to keep within our budget, which is dependent on your participation.  Unfortunately, we cannot process any refunds after August 28, 2025.
